Columbia Plaza Loading Dock Repair
This Design-Build project determines the extent of the concrete repairs necessary to refurbish the Columbia Plaza parking garage and loading dock. Following the determination of the scope of necessary repairs, phasing plans in this occupied building will be coordinated with the Owner. Concrete restoration will be performed throughout the garage and loading dock areas.
Ft. Belvoir – U.S. Army Building Renovations
Signature Renovations was the prime contractor for the exterior building renovations to building 191 located at Fort Belvoir. The work included stone, masonry, wood, windows, metal, foundation and concrete repairs and replacements. The building was constructed in 1934 and was a colonial revival style building. The project consisted of historical renovation and environmental remediation.
FDA Wiley Building Atrium Library Renovation
Design Build project to convert existing library to maple workstations, lockers, file doors, etc. Acoustical testing and design incorporated into the design to minimize sound level in open public area. Majority of work performed off work hours to minimize disturbance during work hours. Worked with building security to gain access to all restricted areas for
National Building Museum
At the National Building Museum, the Signature Renovations team worked to bring this National Landmark back to its former glory after it was recently damaged by an earthquake. The team repaired cracked walls, fixed purlin bearing piers and replaced missing parts in the roof trusses. Interior walls were repaired, plastered, and repainted to their original
Vienna/Fairfax GMU Metro Stairs
Signature Renovations provided demolition and renovation services for the MWATA Vienna/Fairfax Metro facility. The project consisted of the removal and disposal of the existing wind screen, stairs, and metal ceilings. Signature Renovations' in-house staff installed new four-foot handrails and guardrails. The Signature Renovations crew also installed a new windscreen, metal ceiling grid panels, and provided
D.C. Metro Center/Sales Office
The Signature Renovations team built a new underground customer service booth at Metro Center in Washington, D.C. The project included demolition and the installation of armor plates, stainless steel wall panels, interior finishes, roofing, electrical work, mechanical work and a fire alarm system. The jobsite location was a very busy area with commuters and D.C.
